Sorry for the lack of updates at the moment. I've been racing every Sunday and have been pretty busy in other parts of my life. At the end of the series, I'll post pictures and results. The Blur's running fine, despite the earlier Crank Brothers problems.

Hi Vaughn...thanks for documenting your Blur buildout...very interesting to me as I also have a 2005 Blur that I picked up after someone else did all the building. 2 Questions if you have the time--What differences did you note between the Fox RP3 and the 5th Element rear shocks that led you to choose the Fox? I just busted my 5th Element and I'm wondering if I should repair or replace. Second, is there a way for me to tell if my Blur frame is of the "classic" variety as you describe it as opposed to some other XC or long travel version? Thanks! EpicDay at iradical dot net
